Definitely . It happens quite often around here. The batch will be sold before any one notices. A few years ago Bomber Brewing did a Star Wars themed name and were caught. They were ordered to stop. ..so they did.

I have the same opinion of them. Since I posted I’ve bought and drank another 4-pack of a this admittedly gimm icky beer . Great stuff.

IIRC we also share an opinion of Field House. A few months ago I noticed a serious decline in Red Racer ISA quality and started trying new light beers . Phillips Tiger Shark filled the affordable gap but Field House, White House knocked my socks off in that category .

Sadly I’ve cut back beer consuption to like 1-2 cans a week for the next while

I am also just buying from local places (including Foamers) to try and keep costs down and support places I go to

Yes to buying local but not a huge change as I tried pre-covid .

There have been some big changes with my buying habits though. I’m not a very political person so you know things are bad when I create a craft beer shit list.

I’ve always thought the owners were assholes and their business model rubbed me the wrong way, but after watching the fiasco over at P49 it was an easy decision. Never again.

#1 on my list was a much more difficult decision. Did you hear about “Sandwich Board 2020"? If you haven’t, a rundown of the events:

Grease bag hipster and owner of ‘ What’s Up? Hot Dog’ puts out a sandwich board stating “T here’s only 3 things you need to do today” 1) Fuck 2) The 3) Police. On the other side of the board was ‘ACAB’.

Social media backlash is met with “If you disagree, you’re a racist” .

Sleemans, a multinational, had the sense to pull their beer.

Off the Rail steps in to supply and it’s posted proudly to both of their social media.

T hat wasn’t enough for them... A week later they had to draw attention again and gift them a new Off the Rail branded sandwich board.

Off the Rail has always been left- leaning but I was unaware just how far they’d go. The board was inflamatory at the very least, doesn’ t promote any conversation, and disrespects every single good hardworking police officer (of which there are many). All to sell a few 6-packs. Reckless advertising whores. FUCK OFF THE RAIL.

Worth noting, since the board, What’s Up Dog has been sold after the grease bag hipster was raping his employees. If it walks like a duck, and smells like shit...

Twin Sails also stepped in to supply. Never again.

On a more upbeat note, and less ranty, how was that Wea sel beer I saw you had? :-)x

Yikes. People need to realize that some things should just be left well alone.

the sneaky weasel beer wasn’t bad. Pretty cheap, easy drinker!

I’ve cut back because my wife has stopped drinking entirley for the time being and I don’t want to be chugging beers, wine and spirits while she can’t.
